Asia Cup 2023 Full schedule
The 16th iteration of the prominent cricket competition in Asia, the Asia Cup 2023, is scheduled to commence on Wednesday, August 30. The opening match will feature Pakistan and Nepal, adhering to the 50-over format. The tournament will showcase the participation of six teams: India, Pakistan, Nepal, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, and Afghanistan.
Inaugurating the event, the match between Pakistan and Nepal is set to kickstart the cricket festivities. Notably, India holds the record for lifting the trophy seven times, while Sri Lanka has secured victory four times. Guided by Rohit Sharma’s leadership, the Indian team is determined to secure their eighth championship in the tournament’s history.
India’s squad features remarkable talent, including Virat Kohli, Hardik Pandya, Ravindra Jadeja, Jasprit Bumrah, and Mohammad Shami. These seasoned players bring substantial experience to the team.
